Calling ALL ARTISTS!

If you’d like to have your artwork featured in my posts and videos, fill out the form below!

What Do I Do: I make content that breaks down the science and philosophy behind our favorite pop culture characters!

What’s My Goal: To build a community by bridging the worlds of art, STEM, and philosophy through these ‘breakdowns’—while showcasing the creativity of the artists who bring them to life.

EVERY WEEK!

I will select 3-5 pieces of artwork to be featured as backgrounds for my educational breakdowns.

Check out my instagram for some examples here!

A new character will be explored each week, so be sure to check back and submit your work by the posted deadline to be considered.

ALL CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ARTISTS! Please fill out the form with your social handles so viewers can see and support your work!

Thank you—I can’t wait to see all of the amazing pieces you create!

Please submit your artwork by 3/31/25 to have a chance to be featured. I’ll post a breakdown roughly one week after submissions are received.

I’m also a Private Educator, providing assistance in the following fields:

Fine Arts | Philosophy | S.T.E.M.

This is an umbrella term for the forms of art that include drawing, painting, and sculpting, as well as music, performing, and writing. Each art is unique in its own respect, but some of the skills learned in one area can bleed beautifully into another.

What exactly are the fine arts?

Say you ponder the reasons for existence and the ways in which the universe operates, or maybe you contemplate definitions for words like justice or happiness; terms like right and wrong. Perhaps Law interests you. What if you want to learn how to analyze and build proper arguments? If one is to do a quick search, they will find that philosophy is in short, the ‘love of wisdom’. There are philosophies all around the world; cultures with different ways of thinking, which give to us different theories of philosophy. With knowledge being easier than ever for us to access, the student of philosophy should be open to the ideas of the rest of the world.

Why is philosophy important?

S.T.E.M. What does it mean?

See how biology, chemistry, and physics all contribute to our current understanding of both the planet, and the universe! Develop and design with programming languages like Python, HTML, and CSS! Build an understanding of wiring diagrams, simple circuits, and micro-controllers, and before you know it you’ll be making fun electronics! Something that should be understood upfront is that the most important letter in S.T.E.M. is the ‘M’—for mathematics. This is simply because it is the foundation of all the other fields of science, technology, and engineering.

What People Are Saying?

Ryan has been the most successful teacher I’ve ever really had. He’s extremely patient and understanding to how I learn and operate. He takes it at an individual pace which makes it stress-free and feeling like it’s truly your choice

I took Ryan’s beginner guitar class at Rock Valley College and it was absolutely amazing. I was so pleased with how much I learned in such a short time. He really makes learning fun. I am now taking private lessons with Ryan and couldn’t be happier.

My name is Richard and I’m a retired high school science teacher. In my experience, a good teacher is able to take a complex topic and make it accessible for a person to learn. Ryan is exceptional at taking all that is required in the complex tones, rhythms, and shifts necessary to make a musical instrument in creating a musical experience. Not only is Ryan technically adept at teaching the mechanics of playing guitar, but he is also psychologically wonderful in encouraging to his students to practice and learn guitar at a good pace. We all have mistakes and we learn from them to make improvements through practice, over hours of playing — patience with his students with building up confidence is a key to Ryan’s ability in creating success in his students.
